Want to make a difference in American society?
Volunteer! By volunteering you empower not only yourself, but others who
share the same passion about an issue or an event. Local 1038 does it
all. We phone bank and labor walk during election season. Why? So union
members can inform other union members about a candidate's position on
issues that affect them directly and indirectly. Unions can never
compete finacially with major corporations but there is one thing that
we have that they don't. You! Manpower and a grassroots movement!
If you want to get involved please contact our local office and ask to
be placed on our volunteer list. Also, sign up for our emails and get up
to date information on what to local is doing to help fight back.
